Frequently Asked Questions

  • Q1. What is your minimum order quantity (MOQ)? Can small-scale trial production be carried out during the new product development (NPI) phase?

A: The MOQ for regular mass production is typically 1,000 pieces. For new product development, we can provide soft mold prototyping services such as laser cutting or bending machines, and can also conduct small-scale trial production in conjunction with projects. Formal mold opening will only commence after market confirmation, thus reducing your initial inventory risk.

  • Q2. How long does it typically take from drawing confirmation and mold opening to submitting the first article inspection report (FAI) sample? What is the lead time (delivery time)?

A: Delivery time depends on the complexity of the mold. A single-stage mold takes about 15-20 working days, while a progressive mold takes about 35-40 working days. For urgent orders, we can flexibly adjust the schedule through our in-house mold room to fully cooperate and shorten the development time.

  • Q3. What are the common materials processed in the factory? Can you process special materials or thick sheets?

A: Our standard materials include various cold-rolled and hot-rolled steel sheets and galvanized steel sheets; we also have extensive stamping experience with aluminum alloys (such as AL6061) and stainless steel. For thicker sheets or heavy structural parts, we design molds to enhance strength and ensure stable production.

  • Q4. During the Design for Manufacturing (DFM) phase, can you assist in assessing how to reduce manufacturing costs?

A: This is our core strength. Our engineering team proactively provides Design for Manufacturing (DFM) advice during the quotation stage, such as optimizing layout to reduce scrap rate, or suggesting structural modifications to eliminate the need for subsequent processing. By starting with the design from the source, we effectively help you reduce overall manufacturing costs.

  • Q5. Besides simple stamping, do you offer turnkey OEM services that include post-processing?

A: Yes, we have strong local supply chain integration capabilities. We can provide a one-stop service from stamping and pipe welding to surface treatment (such as baking paint and electroplating). You only need to deal with a single point of contact, and we will take care of the final quality and delivery time for you.

  • Q6: After a formal order (PO) is placed, what is the standard mass production delivery time?

A: The standard lead time for simple stamped parts is approximately 2 to 3 weeks. If post-processing such as welding or outsourced surface treatment is included, the lead time is approximately 3 to 4 weeks. The exact delivery date will be specified in your order confirmation reply, depending on the current production capacity and material availability.
